Just a quickie this week so far. Left for Regina, Saskatchewan yesterday morning and got back home for lunch today. The rest of today was then spent with Craig while he bought, registered and insured a truck.

Hi Dave and family.

Nice looking pickup, what was the damage?

Amanda and I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a great 2009. I hope you don't have to work too hard over Christmas. How old is your truck Dave, it looks like it's an older model? (the old ones are always the best!!)

WE hope to be getting over as soon as possible next year. I will let you know when we come out for our research trip. Would you advise waiting until spring when the snow has gone or doesn't it matter when we come out? Will probably hire a car as we want to see as much as we can.

All the best Dave and family,

Andy and Amanda.

Andy, Craigs truck was $4300 and my truck is a 2004 (I think lol). Will you be coming to Manitoba on your research trip? We cam the middle of January for our trip and it helped prepare us a little bit for winter but then the down side of that is you may not get to see as much as you want because of the weather. Personally I would do it in winter again, see it at a bad time of year and if you still like it you will love it in spring and summer.
All the best to you and yours Andy, take care.

Haha, nice one Graham, I notice you didn,t mention anything about no drivng after your 14th hour on duty!!! It can be done in one day but as it took three hours to get unloaded I wasn't going to make it back.

Looks like your driving a mobile Tricolour Dave! Couldn't the company find you a Red, White and Blue one. :)

Is Russell jealous of Craig reading the blog today? You bet he is! Well done to him on his new vehicle.f

Have a great Christmas, all of you.

Sorry Iain but they don't have red, white and blue ones, although I wish they did. Tell Russell his turn will come.
Merry Christmas to you all in Darlo.
