I left this afternoon with a loaded tank going to Roanoke, IL and it looks like I am pre planned to run empty to Memphis, Tn to wash out reload and back to Winnipeg. A nice little run taking me to somwhere I haven't been before.
Just A heads up, not to rain on your parade at all. Memphis and especially West Memphis, Arkansas is one big open sore. A truelly pathetic place. Tennessee has a 70MPH speed limit, however within 30 miles of Memphis (chattanooga and knoxeville too) it's split 55/65 for trucks/cars. Tennessee always had a reputation for shaking truckers down in their scales and on their back roads so I think with the 70MPH limit they just were not making any revenue thus the B.S. they have now. I am biased I admit, I don't care for the South much or pretty much anywhere south of I80. Enjoy the taste of spring just keep your doors locked around the Memphis area truckstops.

I and some of my buds were down there every week,, i never found it worse or better to any where else in the states regarding the cops !!!!
What about keeping my doors locked though Graham? Or were you just living in hope ;-))
